About

Protein Bars made from Quest Nutrition are vastly superior to many other bars on the market! There are three reasons in particular that Quest Bars out shine most of the competition.

The first is protein quantity and quality; each Quest bar is loaded with at least 20 grams of protein mainly coming from whey protein isolate. Most bars that have at least this amount of protein will also be filled with a lot of calories and low quality protein; but quest nutrition keeps their bars very low in overall calories.

The second reason is the super low amounts of sugar found in each bar; many companies will load a lot of sugar in their product in order to make it taste good, but for those that are looking to lose weight on a low carbohydrate diet and stay healthy by not spiking their insulin levels; quest nutrition bars are superior to most of the competition.

The last reason why Quest nutrition bars are recommended is because of the high amount of fiber that each bar contains! Fiber is very important for overall health and especially in dieting as it helps to satisfy hunger. Most people do not get their recommended amount of fiber per day (which according to the Institute of Medicine is 25 grams for women and 38 grams for men per day); each protein bar contains more than 15 grams of fiber, which is a great help to most people!

When to use

Specific times - Dieting

Quest bars are extremely effective while dieting on a low carbohydrate diet; each bar has little to no carbohydrates coming from sugar and the vast majority of the carbohydrates come from fiber which will help people who are dieting to have less hunger.

General times

Protein bars can be used at just about any time whether it is between meals or in addition to meals. These bars are great for adding additional protein into a diet or for simply having something healthy to snack on.

When to use a different type of protein

Although protein bars are great for taking any time during the day, taking a faster digesting protein such as a product that contains only whey protein would be beneficial immediately following strenuous exercise. This is because the body has a short period of time in which it will absorb and use protein rapidly and feeding your body with a fast digesting protein will provide much better results during this short window. Alternatively casein protein would be best to use before bed since it is a slow digesting protein that lasts for up to 7 hours.

Title/View:
LOVE these bars! So convenient; taste great and not loaded with sugar!

Introduction:
I am one of these people who have a tuff time keeping fat off my body. I have to make a real effort each day to keep my body in shape. I work out 3 days per week and eat a rather healthy diet (for the most part). On top of this I have a very busy schedule, so the 3 days that I work out have to be efficient and productive. I chose these bars because I kept grabbing unhealthy snacks when I was on the go, so I decided to try bringing bars with me when I need to snack throughout the day.

Flavor/Taste: 5 Star Rating
I’ve tried the chocolate chip and the brownie flavor so far and both have been AMAZING! Never thought a protein bar with so little sugar could taste so good! I highly recommend these to people who consider taste to be an important factor.

Cost/Value: 5 Star Rating
Compared to the cost of getting snacks at fast food restaurants these bars are very cost effective, I’m saving about 3-5 bucks each day that I substitute these for my usual fast food snacks. For the quality ingredients I believe these are an excellent value.

Effectiveness: 5 Star Rating
These are extremely effective in curbing my appetite and substituting unhealthy food for good quality protein instead. These are a big staple for me in my goals of staying thin and fit.

Overall/Conclusion: 5 Star Rating
Overall I believe that out of all protein bars, these are by far the best on the market. With such a small amount of sugar, with unbelievable taste these bars are a no brainer for the average person with fitness and overall health in mind. I recommend these to anyone and everyone; but especially those who don’t have the time to eat healthy and instead resort to fast food for their snacks.

Pros:

Great for Recovery
Great Macronutrient Profile

Cons:
